Torberry Cottage is a renovated, former farm cottage at the foot of the south Downs, close to the pretty village of South Harting.
The house is well furnished and Maggie, who enjoys meeting people, ensures a friendly and relaxed atmosphere, but with high standards. There are two comfortable rooms, a twin and a double, both ensuite with shower. The rooms have a different aspect, but both overlook open farmland. Sorry, no dogs or children under 10 years
Breakfasts are served around a refectory table, and are freshly cooked to order, with many options available. Free range hens supply the eggs and most of the produce is home cooked , baked or locally sourced when possible. Homemade bread (not in a machine!) is served as well as marmalade and preserves.
Walkers and cyclists are welcome. The South Downs Way is easily accessed by a footpath which runs from opposite the house, through Ditcham Wood, approximately 10mins walk. The Sussex Path is also very close by.
